Comfortable accommodation with lovely covered terrace and woodland setting
A newly renovated cottage adjacent to the main Las Razes (see listing 897796) with its 5* reviews. This Cottage has only just been made available to rent out in its own right. It can be rented with the main property or on its own. It is available all year round and can be rented on a long let. The cottage is priced here as a 4 bedroom property - 3 double rooms and one twin room each with its own shower rooms. We are happy to let the property as a one or two bedroom cottage - please ask us for a price. The Cottage has been refurbished to provide comfortable accommodation. It has a lovely covered terrace and small private garden - all the opening on to woods and the fields beyond. The accommodation is all on one level. Le Cottage is let with a pool (seasonal pool - generally May - September inclusive) and does have a couple of lovely hammocks in the woods. Le Cottage is often let alongside La Grange (to larger parties). But out of the peak season we do let it on its own. Weeks shown on this website we are not letting La Grange and so Le Cottage is available with the pool. The Cottage is available all year and for long-lets. For extra swimming - why not try the bathing lake in Montaigu de Quercy, a perfect beach and swimming spot. Less than 10 minutes away. Le Cottage has a lovely kitchen which opens into the dining area and living room and then out onto a covered terrace. For cooler months the property benefits from electric heating. Las Razes lies just outside of the lovely village of Touffailles and was created from an old farmstead nestled above a quite rural valley. Las Razes has a lovely atmosphere - it's somewhere people return to, feel at home at and find they can just relax and re-charge. Touffailles is situated in a corner of the department of the Tarn et Garonne but close to the departments of the Lot and the Lot et Garonne, An ideal base for discovering this beguiling corner of the former Midi-Pyrénées, (now Occitanie) region. Touffailles has a baker, a play area for small children, a large pond, tennis court, post office and very small grocery store (in the bakers). Most of the markets and activities in France take place at the weekend, so it is a shame to be arriving or leaving then. Out of peak season we try to be as flexible as we can on changeover dates. The best thing to do is stay more than one week! Short stays - need breakfast providing - we can leave fresh produce for you to enjoy a peaceful breakfast - do ask us about this. Thinking of a sabbatical in France? Ask us about a very long let!
