This luxurious craftsman style house built in 2011, located on the Raquette River. 5200 ft.² of living space on three floors with fireplaces (inside/out), custom woodwork, granite, hardwood and tile floors. 5 bedrooms with 4 full, 3-1/2 baths, 1-1/2 kitchens. Large second story deck overlooking river, screen porch, patios, grill, furniture for outside dining, walking-biking trails, skiing, fine dining at “Jake’s on the Water”. This luxurious craftsman style house was built in 2011 and is located on the Raquette River. The house has 5200 ft.² of living space on three floors with fireplaces (inside and out), custom woodwork, granite, hardwood and tile floors throughout. It has five bedrooms with four full baths, three 1/2 baths, one full kitchen and one 1/2 kitchen. If you are a inside person you are sure to be comfortable with the central air or radiant in-floor heat depending on the season. It also has a game room with large movie theater screen, wii, Xbox, pool table and ping-pong. If you like the outdoors this property will accommodate you as well. With a large second story deck overlooking the river, screen porch and patios, equipped with a grill and furniture for outside dining. Just a few steps off the deck and you can be swimming, fishing or just enjoying setting on the river bank watching the sunset. We have two kayaks and a canoe for your use. There is plenty to do close by with walking trails, biking trails, skiing and fine dining at “Jake’s on the Water” just across the river. RED SANDSTONE TRAIL. History and scenery combine in this 3.5-mile trail along west bank of Raquette River between Hannawa Falls and Potsdam. Interpretive markers display a map. See where some of the famous "Potsdam Sandstone" came from. Park near the Hannawa Falls Fire Department on Mill St., just off State Hwy 56 in Hannawa Falls. STONE VALLEY RECREATION AREA. Trail goes along both sides of the Raquette River from Colton north to the Brown’s Bridge road and back, making it possible to do a 7.5-mile loop if desired. Trailheads in Colton are on each side of the bridge over the river just above the Colton Dam and parking is available at both places. Dramatic views and overlooks of many waterfalls and rapids and some informational plaques. The Clarkson UNIVERSITY Trail Network. Five miles of trails, accessible from parking lot on hill campus by Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP) by big green water tower. Clarkson Outdoor Recreation maintains several miles of recreation trails on campus with the help of numerous groups on campus. During the winter months this includes several miles of groomed XC ski trail. If downhill skiing is your thing, about an hour drive you can be skiing Whiteface (Website hidden by Airbnb) or Titis Mountain (Website hidden by Airbnb) . We also have St. Lawrence county snowmobile trail network that runs up the back of the property (Website hidden by Airbnb) . More things to do can be found on North Country Now under “entertainment”.
