In the charming small town of Ulricehamn, only 800 meters from the center, this apartment is available for rent. The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 2 people and has a quiet location near the lake. This makes it possible for guests to take a leisurely walk in the countryside, then be able to return to the activities of small-town life, such as shopping, restaurant visits and other fun excursions. The appartment is located on the ground floor, of a two floor building, facing the lake. Owner and guests have separate entrances to the building , which provides privacy for both. Each appartment is approximately 35 square meters. Outside it is possible to sit in the garden or borrow a grill for your own BBQ. While you are waiting for your grill to cook you can use the trampoline or practice on your disc-golf skills. The apartment is adapted for the disabled. Please contact owner for more detailed information. The apartment is just 50 meters from Ulricehamns Stadspark where lovely morning or evening walks can be taken. The city has a great interest in health and nature. In the 1900's the city was known for its Spa baths for the weak and elderly. Nowadays it is more known for its natural surroundings, walking trails, bicycle possibilities and mountain bike tracks. In winter the city is known for its ski resorts and winter activities. The world championships cross-country skiing of 2017 and 2019 are only a memory short and the city is already preparing to host the 2021 world championships. In the city centre there are several coffee shops and restaurants.The nightlife is not worth mentioning. The city is also surrounded by several playgrounds and bathing areas with good cycle paths between them Generally, the apartments are a little outside the city in a quiet neighbourhood with access to most activities at a small distance. The city is also a nice city for cycling or walking in, and good cycle paths can be found immediately. An example of this is the former railway line, which is now completely asphalted for this purpose. This cycle path can be found 150 meters from the apartment and continues for several kilometers in both directions, where there is no other traffic during major parts. There are good long distance connections to Göteborg and Stockholm as the long distance buses Göteborg – Stockholm also stop in Ulricehamn. Nearest train station is Borås. Their are very good connections to surrounding cities like Borås and Jönköping Ulricehams central bus station is a 1200 meter walk from the apartment. You can also take the city bus to Ulricehamns central bus station. The nearest bus stop for the city bus is about 100 meters away. Supermarkets. Within one kilometre of the apartment their are three supermarkets. On the lake side we have Willy's and ICA and uphill we have Netto. Without a car I would probably recommend Willy's. Good value and easiest to reach by foot. Limited bicycles are available for rent on site and are rented out by the owner, but other rentals in city centre are available.
