There are 3 bedrooms: a room with a double box-spring bed, a room with a double bed and a babybed and the third room with a bunk bed and trundle.  The bathroom is newly furnished with bath, shower, sink and toilet. There is a second bathroom with shower and sink. There is a storage room for storing ski equipment and bicycles. A washing machine and dryer can be used in a common room. Surroundings The village of Altastenberg is located a few kilometers from Winterberg. In Winterberg you can find a wide range of shops and restaurants. In Altastenberg there are several restaurants, a fashion house and a ski rental. Altastenberg is directly adjacent to the ski area and is located high up. As a result, there is a early snow security. There are 17 groomed slopes and a wide range of cross-country trails.It is only a few hundred meters to the nearby ski resort complex known as the Skiliftkarussell Winterberg. Immediately at the entrance of the village there are ski lifts, a cross-country trail (Loipe) and a ski jump (the Westfalenschanze). The "Sahnehang slopes" are used in winter by skiers, snowboarders and tobogganists. Also in the summer, the village is popular because it offers other sports and leisure facilities. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Altastenberg is located on the Rothaarsteig long distance trail that runs over the Kahler Asten. Long routes and different difficulty levels are perfect for moutain bikers.
