Holiday home right by the river

Modern penthouse, private entrance, self contained, at the outskirts of Wipfeld. Big garden, hilltop, with great view on the water, Mainwiesen and orchards. A bike path is directly in front of the house, it is a 3 minute walk to the center / shore. Also, hiking trails within the vineyards are close by. I am happy to suggest great places to hike, dine, have fun and relax during your stay. The city of Würzburg is about 30km away. The appartment is fitted with all neccessaties you need for a relaxing short trip. There's an open and inviting living area including a kitchenette, equipped with lots of kitchen utensils and dishes, also a detached fridge. In the living room you'll find a cozy couch and a flat tv, as well as a big closet for all your luggage. Queen size bed in a sperated area of the room. If required, an additional sofa bed can be prepared. In the bathroom (with shower) you will find towels, a dresser, washing machine, and a hairdryer. If you travel with bikes we'd be happy to store them safely in the basement for you. Free parking in front of the house. You are welcome to use the garden, as well as the barbecue area - just check back with us and we'll make it happen. Holiday with your dog Since I have two dogs of my own, your dogs are very welcome. From my own experience, I know how difficult it is to be separated from your beloved four-legged friend or to find a good dog sitter when you go on vacation. In the holiday home right by the river, your dog is more than just allowed - we are excited for you to bring your dog and there is no surcharge. In the apartment, you will find equipment for one or two dogs. If your furry friend isn't picky, you can safely leave your bowls and dog beds at home. Escape from everyday life Not only the beautiful surroundings invite you to relax - there is enough on the property to make you feel at ease. No matter if you want to have a little chat on the sun terrace between the apple trees, watch chickens in the "Chicken Ranch" or at the fish pond. From everywhere you can enjoy the relaxing view of the Main. A quiet surrounding combined with true hospitality will surely make you forget the daily routine. The accommodation is on the top floor and has its own entrance door. A staircase separates the apartment from the host's apartment. There is a folder with all the necessary information in the accommodation. Wipfeld: The medieval ground plan of the old town is almost unchanged. Renaissance and Baroque buildings as well as a rich stock of medieval building structures characterise the townscape. The former bathhouse now houses one of three literature houses in Germany. St. Ludwig: Located on the left side of the Main River and belonging to Wipfeld, it was still a well-known spa and health resort at the turn of the century. Five sulphur springs, discovered around 1800, laid the foundation stone for the spa operation of the Ludwigbad from 1811 to 1901. It was then a Benedictine monastery and is now owned by the Oberzeller nuns. There is a bus connection to Würzburg, Schweinfurt and Volkach. However, there are very few connections per day. A ferry to cross the river Main is just a 2-minute walk away. Normally, check-in is between 5 pm and 9 pm. If you want to check-in earlier or later, please contact us.
