Newly renovated, 100 year old Organic Farm house, set away in nature, yet close to town, river, bike paths, warm artistic feeling. We are a little farm with chickens and fresh produce, we can provide a little basket of garden delights for your stay if you wish - cost varies on produce, eggs, amount, preserves etc. Feel free to use the back terrace garden area with table and chairs to enjoy your meals. You are welcome to walk through the garden, please do not eat the food. If you are interested to purchase farm fresh produce and eggs, please enquire and we can prepare that for you and your party. I come and go - sometimes I am here, sometimes I am not here. Best coffee shops - Duncan garage Bakery Cage, Book stores - Ten Old Books best restaurant - Alderlea Cafe in Glenora - Farm to table -my good friends John and Katy - Wood stove pizza on Sundays. Bike paths towards Lake Cowichan, car free and fun. Swimming in River - a few local spots to dip in, Vimy and Power lines up the road. Rental bikes at Experience Cycle - and then go up to Mountain bike on Mt Tzhouhelem - Hike Mt. Tzhouhelem - gorgeous about 2.5 hours up to the cross.
