Unique design tiny house on wheels in the river canyon. We have designed it to create enough space for the moments together, romance for two, and relaxation by the river. The smell of wood, or a fireplace stove strive for contentment and the involvement of all the senses. French windows allow you to watch directly from the bed the river flow while sipping your favorite drink. Nearby is a bike path, nature reserve, walks with views of the Vltava canyon, or the oldest church in the Czech lands. Accommodation includes coffee, tea, oil, spices, muesli, milk and oatmeal. OUR TIP: From Prague's Stromovka you can reach us by bike along a cycle path along the river bank in a leisurely ride in 40 minutes. Already the journey to us can be an experience. Tiny house is a suitable place for cycling trips. WHY DID WE BUILD TINY HOUSE? We live in a city and the motivation for the realization of the tiny house was the desire for a more independent lifestyle, to literally build something and be closer to nature. We worked on the mobile cabin from the first idea to the actual implementation for over a year. We believe that we are not alone, who sometimes like to go outside the city and discover hidden places that often offer unexpectedly pleasant memories. Therefore, we designed and built a prototype of a mobile home, which allows other like-minded people to get to know such places. SUSTAINABILITY We like to spend time in the fresh air in nature, which is why the issue of sustainability is also important to us. The outer shell is protected by the traditional Japanese method of tanning wood without the use of chemical paints. It is important for us that our tiny house has a minimal impact on the surrounding environment. Solar energy makes it self-sufficient and, thanks to its mobility, leaves no trace on the land where it is located. For instance, lighting, fridge or water pumps work self-sufficient. This fascinates us every time we start the water taps, every time we take cold drinks out of the fridge or when we can read a book in the evening. We find it great. We are happy to share such experiences with you. We wish you a pleasant stay, Ivana and Jan We care about you having a relaxing and unique stay. For any questions we are available on mobile phone and e-mail. We live in Prague, but we strive for a personal welcome to advise and recommend everything. Before your stay, let us know about your preferences, what you would like to experience and see in the area, we will be happy to help. The surroundings offer natural attractions, a bicycle path from Prague through Stromovka, local famous refreshments, or important historical monuments. Activities around Husinec or around the place where the road ends: - Vetrusice gorge National Nature Reserve (Drabovna Cave) - a walk through the apple orchards to the village of Vetrusice, where you can watch the sunset - fresh smoked trout, homemade sausages, beer and other snacks at U Hastrmana - Tennis and pétanque in the close village of Rez - calm walks by the river Longer trips: - visit to the oldest church in the Czech lands on the other bank of the Vltava in Levy Hradec - cycle path to the Prague Zoo (9 km along the river / 35 minutes in one direction) - cycle path to the baroque chateau, chateau park and fallow deer in the town of Veltrusy (17 km along the river / an hour drive in one direction) - Konetopy Lake (perfect spot for swimming during summer) You can reach our tiny house by car, train or bicycle from Prague along a cycle path along the banks of the Vltava. Lights and water pumps operate exclusively on solar energy. There is both a portable solar shower (where the water temperature depends on the sun heating) and a built-in shower in the bathroom, which is not heated and depends on the outdoor temperature. During the winter season from the end of November to about half of March, we drain water from the system due to frosts, however, the water will be prepared for you in barrels, so the availability of water will be only slightly limited. Of course, the water can be heated on a stove or fireplace (wood stove). IMPORTANT: Carefully follow the conditions and safety precautions for the use of the woodstove during heating. We will be happy to send you the safety precautions or they are available on the notice board in a tiny house. We try to show that it is possible to live without high energy consumption and, if possible, we try to hereby inspire others into everyday life. We build on self-sufficiency and sustainability. The tiny house works mainly on solar energy without networking and is a so-called "off-grid" solution.
