Two Czechoslovakian families shared the home in 20th century. The families were bee keepers and sausage makers of Robertsdale. A Walmart is located a half a mile from the house and a laundry mat and grocery store are at the corner of 104 and 59, approximately a mile from the home. There is Not a washer and dryer in home. I do have pods and dryer sheets as well as laundry basket next to a directions to the laundry mat. It’s close. This 120 year old home is situated 24.0 miles from Gulf Shores Alabama just off of Hwy 59 or Gulf Beach Hwy. The home has been under renovation since 1998. All new electrical and plumbing have been installed. We spend time every year working on the home, it is a work in progress. This year it got new roof and paint and a new front porch floor, there was a bad hurricane in 2020. The water is endlessly heated by a tank-less gas hot water heater. Water pressure is good. There is a coffee maker and the water is good well water/no chlorine. As seen in the picture above there is a private entrance to the room at the far right in the front. The room can also be accessed through the back door, to the left and straight. You can park in front at the staircase or use driveway at back of house and enter through back door. Contact me for the key location if you choose to use front door and park up front. The yard is one acre. There is a table and chairs on porch. Area in front of room is somewhat private/ separate from rest of porch. NO SMOKING INSIDE AND PLEASE DISPOSE OF ANY CIGARETTE ENDS. I am available for any questions by phone or text but I have limited interaction with guests because I travel frequently. The house is on a quiet rural road. It has a large yard and room to walk. At night you can see a ton of stars. Quiet front porch. Laundrymat 1.6 miles away (URL HIDDEN) Anything that you might forget or require is within walking distance with the Walmart on Hwy 59 located so close. The drive to Gulf Shores beach is approx 30 minutes, depending on traffic, as house is located just off of Gulf Beach Hwy. There is wifi and a workspace in the room. There is little choice on internet in the area of home. The sole internet service is centurylink and at best 5 mbps. Okay for streaming but uploading and downloading is a bit slow.
