Built in 1935, the house is a short walk from the village church. A lot of light floods the house and the garden serves as an indestructible backdrop. The 160 m2 village house has three bedrooms next to the living room, kitchen and dining room. The house has large windows and high ceilings. This is untypical for the Spanish village house architecture. It was here, however, wanted. The Mallorcan light is reflected on the white surface of the interior and leaves the view through the windows. The gentle flow of white floors and walls carries the mix of old Spanish architecture and lovingly crafted interiors. Outside, you will be greeted by a surprisingly green tropical garden. Here dominate a banana tree, a pencil cactus and the blue of the pool. The old vine rests on the pergola and pool and carries kilos of white grapes. The ground floor welcomes you with a large entrance hall from where the first bedroom can be entered. The bedroom has a comfortable 140x200 cm double bed. The kitchen acts as the heart of the house. An old Chinese bank separates the Mallorcan kitchen from the dining area. It is the perfect place to enjoy wine and tapas with your guests while cooking. The upper floor is accessible via a stone carved staircase. It leads you directly into the living room and the two bedrooms on the first floor. The small bedroom contains two single beds (90x200 cm). Following the birdsong you enter the master bedroom with a 160 cm double bed, a bathroom and a reading room. From the chaise longue in the reading room you look out over the rooftops of the village to the mountains. This is the place of intense silence in the house. From the reading room you enter the balcony. Here a square Thai bed was installed by a local cabinetmaker on extra high legs, so that you can overlook the heavily overgrown plants and watch the sunset. The open kitchen and the dining room on the ground floor, as well as the living room and the bedroom upstairs are heated by pellet stoves. The bathroom upstairs is heated with an electric towel radiator. So your stay will be warm and cozy even in the cooler months of the year. Montuiri is a quiet village away from mass tourism. You will find everything you need, from the cafes in the church square, a farmers market on Monday, supermarkets and a pharmacy. Some restaurants are within walking distance. The nearest beach, Es Trenc and Palma are 25 minutes away by car. Montuiri is conveniently located on the island to discover everything Mallorca has to offer.
