Our house sits 300 feet from a white sand beach in quiet, picturesque Cape May Point. The house has an open floor plan and spacious outdoor decks. With it's three bedrooms, it's a special place for families, couples, or bird watchers to escape. * Please note - During the summer rental months, which are always in high-demand, starting mid June and lasting through mid September, we rent the space for 7 days at a time, from Saturday to Saturday, so families can enjoy a full week of vacation. Thank you and we hope to hear from you! Glad Tidings sits in the heart of Cape May Point, just two blocks away from the lighthouse and the Cape May Point State Park and Bird Observatory. Guided walking tours are held in the internationally known bird sanctuary with seasonal bird and monarch butterfly migrations from early Spring into the Fall. The house is also close to Sunset Beach with it's lovely sunsets and Cape May diamonds. For larger groups, it is possible to rent the second floor as well, if it is available. Please send us a message! The house is a duplex. Each floor has a private entrance and can sleep 6 individuals. There are 3 bedrooms and a sleeping alcove. You will enjoy access to the entire floor as well as high-speed internet, telephone, high definition TV, refrigerator, washer/dryer, microwave, oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and central air-conditioning. Each floor has its own spacious deck. The house also features a large outdoor shower, gas grill, and a backyard deck. There is also a storage area with things like umbrellas, beach chairs and beach carts as well as some sand buckets for play. There is also a washer/dryer outside the house. I will not be there when you arrive, but am readily available by phone with any needs or questions you may have. Cape May Point is a hidden gem -- a quiet residential neighborhood with a lighthouse, gorgeous beaches, and an internationally known Bird Sanctuary. Chances are if you're coming to Cape May Point you'll have a car with you. If you need to get around, Uber is always a great option. It's also one of my favorite places for biking. There is a ferry that travels from Cape May to Lewes, Delaware often used by people coming in from Washington, DC. Also, Cape May is my favorite place on earth to ride my bicycle! Guests must bring their own sheets and pillowcases, towels, dishtowels, shampoos and toiletries. This year, because of COVID19, we are asking guests to also bring blankets The beds are of the following sizes. - 1 Queen size bed - 1 Full size bed - 2 Twin Beds
