In addition to the stunning views, the apartment is conveniently located with just a short walk down the High Street into Falmouth town centre with its fine choice of shops, restaurants, bars, galleries & other attractions. The Royal Cornwall Yacht Club and Prince of Wales Pier are both nearby. The latter offers boat trips to picturesque St Mawes, on the Roseland Peninsula, Truro or the Helford River and the regular ferry across to Flushing. The nearest bars and restaurants are less than a 5-minute walk from your front door. On the inside, Erin Lodge is bright and cheery and exudes fun. The whole property has been fitted out with homewares and furniture from Bean Hive (a local shop). There are colours aplenty and quirky products around every corner. You will constantly be finding something new and bursting into a grin. Externally Erin Lodge is an early 19th-century grade II listed property with a Doric porch, beautiful cornices, and an imposing presence commanding impressive views from Flushing to the docks. This property is actually the first-floor apartment as the ground floor is separate and accessed from the rear. However, the garden is private and all yours for your holiday. Accommodation Ground Floor: Enter into the grand lobby with stairs to the first floor. First Floor: Stairs open onto a large landing with doors leading to; Kitchen Diner with a large circular dining table and chairs, fully fitted units and appliances. Living room with fabulous furniture and artwork and magnificent views of the harbour. Master bedroom with 5' double bed and storage. Double bedroom with 4'6" double bed and storage. WC and hand basin. Snug lounge with sofa bed on the way through to the family bathroom with separate shower, WC and hand basin. Exterior: Private garden with 2 x sun loungers, bistro table and chairs, 2 x folding tables. Private parking space in front of the garage. Facilities & Services Full gas-fired central heating throughout. The kitchen has a range of modern units with an electric oven & gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, combined fridge/freezer, Russell Hobbs coffee machine. There is a washing machine and a separate tumble dryer. The sitting room has a digital Smart TV with catchup. There is an iron with ironing board and a hairdryer. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included. However, you must bring your own beach towels. There is a parking space in front of the garage but this cannot be guaranteed. The property is no smoking, and no dogs are allowed at Erin Lodge. Babes in arms are welcome but no children under 5. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is a Saturday. £400 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required. Short breaks may be available during quieter times of the year.
