San Nicola L'Arena (part of the municipality of Trabia) is a picturesque fishing village on the north coast of Sicily, with a charming marina where you can go for a walk and beautiful beaches. In the village there are 2 mini-market, 1 fruit store, 1 pharmacy, clothing stores, bars, pizzerias and restaurants and other shops; There is also a catholic church, a post office and a bank. San Nicola L'Arena is half way between Cefalù and Palermo; you can reach both towns within 20-25 minutes drive or by train (the station is in front of the apartment). The nearest access to the motorway is just 3 km away from the apartment. During Christmas Holidays in many sicilian villages you can visit the traditional 'Living Nativity Scenes'; the best of them is in Termini Imerese, a town at 9 km from the apartment.
