Alfermann Stone Cottage

Step back to a simpler time in the Alfermann Stone Cottage. Nestled on a 50+ acre property in beautiful Missouri Wine River Valley, this cottage is surely what you need for some rest and relaxation! The stones keep the cottage perfectly cool in the summer and light the fireplace in the winter to create the perfect ambiance. The shared bathroom is located just steps away. Go to our Profile to see the other Residences and Lodges we have available! Boone Monument Village can sleep up to 25 onsite in its various lodges, please message us if you need more space! The Village is yours to explore, we just ask that you respect the privacy of the other guests. You will not have access to other buildings, but be sure to check out the AMAZING patio on the East side of the Red Barn. We are on-site occasionally but can be easily reached via call or text. Boone Monument Village is located in Marthasville, MO which is a quaint town smack dab in the middle of Missouri Wine Country. Enjoy Lake Creek Winery right next door, or take a drive to nearby Augusta for even more wineries. Bring your bike or take a hike on the Katy Trail, head into the town of Marthasville for a bite to eat at Philly's Pizza or Cori's Twin Gables, or drive across the river into Washington, MO to do some antique shopping, or to catch a movie! BMV is just minutes from the Katy Trail if you're biking/walking. Otherwise, be sure to drive here. Sorry, Uber and Lyft aren't available here, but we may be able to call a taxi (dependent on their availability) There is a $20.00 fee for operating the fireplace for firewood, fatwood starter, lighter and cleaning. Guests desiring to use the exterior fire pit (seasonal and weather dependent), may purchase a small ($10) or large ($20) firewood bundle which also includes fatwood starter and a lighter.
