Fox Family Manor - Lilac Room

Welcome to my historic & tranquil home located 15 min. from Center City and less than a mile from the Wissahickon area of Fairmount Park! I have 2 bedrooms available in this lovely 1888 Wilson Eyre designed Shingle Style home. Close to area colleges. Restrictions: - No Parties are allowed in the house or on the property. - No loud music is allowed in the house. - No extra guests are allowed on premises unless landlord is notified - No smoking IN the house. You may smoke outside. This spacious 3rd floor bedroom can accommodate up to 2 people per night in a queen bed and has its own bathroom. The bedroom has bedding and towels. In addition, I can provide a single mattress (with bedding) on the floor if another bed is requested, at an additional charge for a third person @$30/night. There is an additional bedroom on the 3rd floor that also has its own bathroom that can be rented separately. Guests have access to the first floor of the house and its amenities including the laundry room, kitchen, including fridge space and my lovely screened in porch. I am friendly host who rented out rooms long before AirBnB existed. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing my home and knowledge of the great city of Philadelphia. My home is located 15 minutes from Center City in the historic Germantown section of Philadelphia. Close to beautiful walking trails in the Wissahickon and food markets, as well as a few neighborhood restaurants. I am also close to several area colleges- Philadelphia University, St. Joe's University, LaSalle University and Chestnut Hill College. The house is located 1.5 blocks from the Chelten Avenue station on the SEPTA Regional Rail Chestnut Hill West line (see (URL HIDDEN) for schedules) This can take youdowntown to center city in approximately 15-20 minutes! I am also a 15-20min drive from the City. Free parking is available on the street. Taxis/Ubers are available as well. - I am family friendly and happy to accommodate children of any age, I raised two of them here! - There is a basketball court for guests to use and play on.
