The house is the perfect size for two or three couples or a family. It sleeps 6 people. The Tolman House is superbly located as a base for exploring Anderson Valley and the Mendocino Coast. It is within 300 ft. of 2 wine tasting rooms and Pennyroyal goat cheese farm/tasting and 1/2 mile from dining, shopping, and a microbrewery. In 15 minutes you can be hiking among the redwoods in Hendy Woods State Park. Drive 30 minutes to the Navarro beach or 50 minutes to the picturesque village of Mendocino. Another 15 minutes and you can be at Ft. Bragg--catching The Skunk Train or looking for treasures at Glass Beach. You can also just relax at the picnic table and gaze at the hills of Anderson Valley and the Pinot Noir grapevines that surround you.
