The Barn in Coal Creek

This delightful space is perfect for your quiet getaway. Set in the country with hundreds of acres of unobstructed views this converted Barn is just what you need to get away and unplug. Bring your dog and take advantage of the gazebo and fire pit. The full kitchen, laundry, jetted tub and comfy reading space you will feel right at home. Stay a night or a week, whatever it takes to recharge your batteries. Traveling nurses and business travelers are welcome. We are happy to have you. We are conveniently located close to Telluride, Crested Butte, Powderhorn, and Grand Junction. The Black Canyon National Park is right here in our back yard. Skiing, festivals and other activities all year round. If you're a jeeper, we are minutes from jeep trails in Dry Creek Pet friendly Park anywhere in the shared driveway. Then make your way down the gravel path to the Barn. Make yourself at home in the space North of the house. As much or little as you like. I do love talking to and getting to know folks, but this is your vacation and I don't want to be in the way. We have hosted 2 engagements and 1 honeymoon! So, if you're planning a special event, let me know how I can help make it spectacular. This is rural Western Colorado. You'll see deer before you see our neighbors. Farmers at work make a delightful scene through the summer months. Cows lowing, gease flying, wild life viewing and cool morning air to enjoy your coffee on the patio. We are located about 15 minutes from Montrose where you can shop and dine. There is no public transportation. There are private kennels and barns on the property. We do have farm animals such as horses, mini Hereford cattle and pigs. Please keep dogs and children clear. If you want to look, I would be happy to accompany you. During summer months the pond is full. Please use caution as there are no barriers.
