In Normandy, garden house for 6 people
The cottage is in Normandy, easy to access (5km from exit 13 of the A28 motorway and 15km from exit 24 of the A13 motorway). The 18th century house awaits you for a calm and serene stay. Made of stones and half-timbering, it is an authentic Norman building (restored in 2018) well integrated in the classified village of Bec Hellouin. The terrace will allow you to enjoy the sun. In the small garden you will find an ideal space for napping. The house is in the heart of the village, close to the abbey, a horse riding club, the greenway, the Risle (fishing) and the forest. Every Friday afternoon, the Bec Hellouin ecological farm opens its doors. It is possible to visit it but also to buy the production of the moment. For entertainment, the castles of Harcourt, the Battlefield, or Beaumesnil are nearby. The Brionne leisure center allows many activities by the water. The Risle river is famous for fishing. Le Bec Hellouin is 15km from the battlefield golf course, 40km from Rouen, 50km from Honfleur, and 1 hour 30 minutes from the landing beaches. To cycle, it is possible to rent electric mountain bikes in Bernay (20km from Le Bec). Bernay, birthplace of Edith Piaf, is a very beautiful city, wedged between two rivers famous for its Saturday morning market.
