The bright, clean guest bathroom is just steps away from the bedroom. The new kitchenette features a sink, fridge/freezer, kettle, French press, microwave, Magic Bullet blender, and Oster convection oven / air fryer. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea with a view of the cedars. Hook up your laptop, cellphone or iPad to the projector and sit back on the Natuzzi sofa to watch movies, play video games, or do homework on the big screen. The Shipyard Pub at Maple Bay Marina, down Genoa Bay Road, has a patio and good food. You may see a Horizon Air floatplane come in for a landing. Take a walk on the pier to see the boats and amazing float homes. Kayak rentals and whale watching excursions normally operate in one or more of these locations, in addition to fantastic eateries and viewpoints. A transit bus runs near the home, but not early or frequently. A vehicle is a requirement for most people around here. It’s a short drive to area hikes on Mount Tzouhalem and mountain biking trails on Maple Mountain. Drivers: watch out for deer, especially at dusk.
