Seafront cottage - "Strandstugan"

Charlottenberg Strand offers a genuine archipelago experience which is very rare today. The cottage "Strandstugan" is offered on a large seafront property bordering a wonderful oak forest, on the south coast of Rindö in the Stockholm archipelago. Charlottenberg Strand is situated on a large seafront property bordering a beautiful oak forest, on the south coast of Rindö island in the Stockholm archipelago. The property has over 100 meters of coastline facing directly south, including a newly-built dock. Charlottenberg Strand offers accommodation in the cottage "Strandstugan" on a daily to weekly basis. "Strandstugan," with 30 square meters (330 square feet), is situated only a few steps from the sea. Guests have access to a private beach and dock area, as well as use of a rowboat and bicycles. There is also a wood-fired sauna boat moored nearby which guests can use for a small fee of 150 crowns per person and use (based on availability - please reserve in advance). Our family resides on the property, however at a comfortable distance from the cottage... We will gladly meet you upon arrival and answer any questions you may have about Rindö and Vaxholm. The south coast of Rindö is a wonderful area, in the middle of the Stockholm archipelago yet with car and bus access. You can even take the "Waxholm" passenger boats to and from the nearby jetty "Vegabryggan" (15 minute walk from the property) all the way to Stockholm or farther out into the archipelago! Travelling to Charlottenberg Strand is easy! There are car ferries connecting Rindö island with Vaxholm and Värmdö. The ferries are free of charge and operate around the clock. The nearest bus stop is called Rörängsvägen and is a 10 minute walk from the cottage. The "Waxholm" passenger boats stop at the local jetty "Vegabryggan," which is a 15 minute walk. The town of Vaxholm is very close! If you prefer to leave the car at home you can bike to the car ferries in 10 minutes, or take a leisurely stroll in 30 minutes. We have boat taxi business called Kastellets Rederi, and can provide transfers and tours to and from Vaxholm, Stockholm,and the rest of the archipelago. The cabin "Strandstugan" is a newly renovated 30 square meter cabin (330 square feet) with rustic standard, situated a few steps from the sea at Ramsö Sound. Strandstugan has four rooms, with a kitchen, veranda with sofa and dining area, bedroom with 140 cm double bed, and newly-built bathroom with floor heating and washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a wood stove, electric stove and oven, and refrigerator. Strandstugan is beautifully situated on a beachfront property with the sea only a few steps from the door. Guests have access to a private beach and dock, as well as use of a rowboat and bicycles.
