Set in the heart of the Diege valley in south west France surrounded by farms, rivers and woodland, the charming 19th century barn offers extremely comfortable accommodation for two people. On the first floor a large sitting room with deep comfortable sofas, an extensive library of books, DVDs and music CDs. The pretty mezzanine bedroom has a king size bed, with 100% cotton bedding and plenty of hanging space and shelving. On the ground floor there is a bright fully equipped kitchen and a shower room and toilet. The mature garden is full of secluded places to sit and read, or doze. Guests are invited to help themselves to produce from the organic potager and tiny orchard. After a day of discovery - there are many medieval towns and villages, vineyards, markets and a stunning river-laced valley to explore - stretch out on the wisteria-draped terrace and enjoy a pre-dinner drink. There are two excellent restaurants within a 10 minute drive. NB Owners and their dogs, Lottie and Milo, live on site. Broadcast television not available.
