Our house stays at 10 minutes walk from Penha's subway station and 20 minutes by metrô from Arena Corinthians where it will happen the Opening Ceremony of the FIFA WORLDCUP 2014 and other soccer matches. It´s a simple house but it will guarantee the necessary comfort to rest during your stay. It has 2 double beds, 1 single bed (opcional), and a private bathroom with shower. Wireless internet, Cable TV, Snooker table, Recreational area with fridge/stove/microwave oven/barbecue grill and all the housewares, Private Bathroom and Eletrical Heater. The owners live in the same space but separated from the guests. *THE CLEANING MUST BE DONE BY THE GUESTS IF NECESSARY. (CLEANING PRODUCTS WILL BE AVAILABLE) **LINEN WILL BE PROVIDED BY US. At the street there is a drugstore, Morro Bar pub, a grocery, bakery, minimarket, Coffee, etc. And at 1,8 km Penha Mall (McDonalds's, Burguer King, Moviecom Cinema) and all kinds of stores. Penha subway station at 10 minutes walking and buses for everywhere (to Penha Mall, downtown and other subway lines). Guarulhos International Airport (airport code GRU) is officially called Governador Andre Franco Montoro International Airport at 30 minutes by car/Taxi (20 Km) Sao Paulo Arriving into the city By air The international airport in Sao Paulo is Andre Franco Montoro, more commonly known as Guarulhos. It is located in the north east of the town about 30 km from the city centre. The domestic airport, Congonhas, is located in the south part of the town about 11 km from the city centre. Getting to and from the international airport (Guarulhos): by car – the airport is located at Av. Rod Helio Smidt, and easily accessible from two motorways Dutra (BR-116) and Ayrton Senna (SP-70); both will lead you to Marginal Tiete and from there to most destinations you will require; car hire companies are located in the terminal buildings by bus – there is a bus service that connects the airport to Tatuapé metro station; there are also shuttle services to main points in the city as well as hotels by taxi – you can pay for a licensed taxi from inside the airport’s terminal; most credit cards are accepted and the fee is fixed according to your destination Getting to and from the domestic airport (Congonhas): by car – the airport is located at Av. Washington Luís, at the end of Av 23 de Maio. Car hire operators are located in the terminal buildings by bus – there are bus services that connect the airport to Avenida Paulista and to São Judas metro Station by taxi – you can pay for a licensed taxi from inside the airport’s terminal; most credit cards are accepted and the fee is fixed according to your destination By road From Sao Paulo there are bus services to some of the major cities in Brazil. Travel times can be very long and road quality can be poor, especially away from the major cities. Sao Paulo has three different bus terminals, all of which are connected to metro stations. Bus Terminal Barra Funda – located in the western part of the city Bus Terminal Tiete – one of the largest terminals in South America; located in the north part of the city Bus Terminal Jabaquara – located in the southern part of the city Climate Sao Paulo’s temperature in June and July can vary between 5°C and 22°C. Stadium and Fanfest The stadium is located in Itaquera, to the east of the city. buses, tube and trains will be available to get to the stadium; the tube and train will offer the most direct service, with buses taking longer and potentially requiring multiple changes there are a number of stations around the stadium; the closest being Corinthians Itaquera – about a 5 minute walk from the stadium The Fanfest will be located at Vale do Anhangabau in São Paulo’s historical downtown area. Travelling there by tube will be a convenient option. The closest stations are Anhangabau, Sé, and Republica (on the red line) or São Bento (on the blue Line).
