The bunglalow sleeps 8 and is located on a no-through road, 200 metres from Llandanwg beach. To the front of the property there are magnificent views of the Rhinog mountains. Erw is in Llandanwg, a small hamlet with its own beach and estuary, set in the Snowdonia National Park and is part of the beautiful Cardigan Bay sandy coastline in North Wales. Gather the family for a beach break near the mountains AND the sea! Situated three minutes walk from Erw is the beautiful Llandanwg beach with its stunning panoramic views of the sea, the Llyn Peninsula and the mountains of Snowdonia (including Snowdon itself) dominating the northern and eastern skyline. The beach is a wonderful setting for children to build sandcastles, explore the rockpools, fly a kite and finish with an ice-cream from the Y Maes beach cafe. Llandanwg is an ideal base for walkers, with beautiful routes in the hills, valleys and easy access to the Wales Coastal Path. There are also cycle trails that run through the hills nearby. Erw is conveniently located close to the amenities of Harlech (2 miles), a town famous for its majestic castle. Harlech also boasts Royal St. David's golf course, long sandy beach and a variety of good quality cafes and restaurants. Harlech also features the steepest road in the World! having recently been awarded by the Guinness Book of Records. Barmouth (7 miles) is popular because of its seaside location and mountainous views, where the children can go crabbing off the harbour, visit the funfair and there is a selection of good places to eat. Also close by is Porthmadog (10 miles) which offers the Ffestiniog steam train that travels through Snowdonia and Portmeirion village, a beautiful Italianate village to explore, made famous by the 1960's TV programme 'The Prisoner'. The famous ZipWorld is also close by for adrenaline seekers!
