Castle Park Apartment with sunset veranda

The apartment (75 km2) is located in a 19th century house 5mins walk from the Old Town. It faces the picturesque Castle Park (Cēsu Pils parks). The place has a bedroom, a combined kitchen-living room and a veranda that offers a romantic sunset view. (Veranda is warm only mid-MAY–>SEPT). Hardwood floors. Central heating. The kitchen is well equipped; a washing machine for laundry. Suitable for couples, families (with kids), small friend companies. We offer discount for 2-day and longer stays. Sleeping arrangements OCTOBER–>mid-MAY for max 5 persons (+ 1 infant) Sleeping arrangements mid-MAY–>SEPTEMBER for max 6 persons (+1 infant) Bedroom (1,40 m double bed + single bed), kitchen-living room (double couch) and the veranda (small double pullout sofa-bed – only warm season!). There is one extra single folding bed that can be used in any of the rooms in any season. A travel crib is available for infants. Please note, however, that the veranda doesn't have curtains. If you would like to sleep there and you are light sensitive, bring a sleep mask. Also, please note that there is a street between the park and the house, hence you might hear some car noises in the apartment during the day. During summer weekends cultural events are often held in the park over the street, so guests may listen to the music with the windows opened. The weekdays are usually calm. The intercity train/bus station is 15 mins walk. Contact host for late check-in and check-out. The entrance to the house is from the backyard (basement level) and the apartment is located on the 2nd floor (no elevator!). You will have an entire apartment, fully equipped. You may relax in our garden upon agreement. We live on the 1st floor of the building and will help if you need something. The apartment is located right next to the central park of the town – Cēsis Castle Park, a romantic leisure place created in the 19th century by Carl Gustav Graf von Sievers. The Park has imposing travertine steps and an artificial pond. Available to public all year round free of charge. All the worth-to-see places in the city center can be easily reached on foot. If you travel by car – there is a parking lot in our yard. I have separated the nightly rate and cleaning fee to make the price more transparent and favourable for longer staying guests. I find this pricing policy more accurate, as the cleaning is done once after the guests, despite the duration of their stay. This way longer staying guests doesn't have to overpay.
