Acqui Terme, about 12 km away, is well-known for its thermal baths and has some excellent restaurants and boutiques. Genoa, Milan and Turin can be reached within 1,5 to 2 hours. Albissola and Varazze, colourful seaside resorts, can be reached in less than an hour without any traffic jam.
