Quiet. A little Rough. And no nonsense.

No wifi. Not even electricity! Just yourself and the simplicity of the Thy nature, all alone in a quiet spot in the National Park. Far enough from Klitmøller to be all alone. Close enough to be at the beach in 5 minutes. Just a simple house in midst of the simple and magnificent nature. The house is a simple farmers house from 1887. The old living quarters were refurbished in 2002 and the old Barn was transformed into a separate apartment in 2019-20 (Photos are preliminary). The style is simple and rough, yet functional. No electricity adds to the atmosphere. Each apartment is spacious enough to gather 10 people at the table in either end. Forget the electronic gadgets, open yourself to the sensation of the nature around you, the contact with the people dear to you - and let peace find you. Ideal for at couple's romantic getaway - as well as for the extended family trip with several generations, or two families traveling together. The two separate apartments share a central part of house - the old stables - with storage facilities and two bathrooms. We live one hour's drive away, so we won't disturb you. During your stay, you can reach me with short notice on phone or via Airbnb. You will find yourself at the far end of a dirt track, overviewing the beautiful nature. Solitude with closeness to Klitmøller are prime attractions. The natural landscape with no signs of human activity as far as you see. Beaches: Klitmøller is famous for surfing of any kind. But the beaches are great for swimming, too. The nearest beach in Klitmøller by Splittergab (3 km from the house) is both good and popular. We often prefer the less visited beach at Bøgested Rende (12 km down the coast). When the water is rough, or if you just prefer it, the two near by lakes are perfect for swimming too. Nors sø has a beautiful family-friendly beach area with sandy beach, very low and clear water, perfect for the youngest kids. Vandet sø is deeper, and appeals to adults, in need for a refreshing swim. Come by car. Public transport is not easy here. Good bicycling- & mountain-bike-tracks around, though. We don't offer final cleaning, so you save that expense - but have to clean after yourself. Feel free to use the firewood The house provides pillows and bed covers (dyner). You need to bring your own bed linen, towels, dish towels and dish cloths. Please bring lamp oil and candles (preferably stearin rather than paraffin) for lighting - or buy in Klitmøller. There will be some in the house when you arrive, and please leave some for the next guest.
