Our house is in the upper Saale valley, on the north-eastern edge of the Fichtelgebirge - directly touched from the Saale cycle path. It is a good starting point for hikers, mountain bikers, climbers and water sports enthusiasts (kayak, windsurfing, kiteboarding, sailing). The river Saale flows past the property and the lake Förmitztalsperre is 1km southeast. It is about 10 minutes by car to Hof and Münchberg. The Donald Duck Museum is located in Schwarzenbach (2km). Shopping in Schwarzenbach - the mobile bakery stops in front of the house. In the house itself is the restaurant "Teschner's Herrschaftliche Gastwirtschaft", and in the vicinity there are several restaurants whose regional cuisine is worth a visit. Parking directly at the house - the train stop is 300m away.
