Riverview, Dittisham, South Devon is the perfect family holiday home for a riverside village escape exclusively marketed by Dart Valley Cottages. Located in the very peaceful Dittisham Court in the heart of the village, you are only a short stroll from the village amenities and a wander down the hill to the quayside. Riverview benefits from its own private grassy garden and superb views of the river Dart and a distant Dartmoor from the sitting room and master bedroom. Accommodation: The front door opens into the hall with two bedrooms on this floor that overlook the garden, one with a king-size bed and one with bunk beds, as well as a bathroom with bath, shower over, loo, basin and washing machine/tumble dryer. Upstairs there is the open plan living space with well equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The cream kitchen is complete with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The lounge area has 2 sofas, 2 armchairs, wood burner, TV and DVD player. The dining table seats 6 and looks out over the garden and countryside towards the river via the patio doors out to a small balcony. There is additional seating on the balcony for enjoying a morning coffee with steps down to garden. Upstairs again takes you to the light and airy en suite master bedroom with king-size bed, pretty blue painted furniture, en suite bath with shower over, toilet and basin. On this floor there is an additional single bedroom. Outside: At the rear of the property there is a private grassy garden from which you have views over Dittisham Mill Creek and various aspects of the river Dart. Dittisham Court itself is set in 4 acres of grassy communal grounds including a small orchard containing plum and apple trees. There is a loading bay at the front of the house with two allocated car parking spaces a short distance away. Nearby: The village pub The Red Lion is a 2 minute walk around the corner (don't worry it is not known to be noisy) The Red Lion also hosts the village shop and post office. A 10 minute walk will take you to The Quay where you will find the Ferry Boat Inn and The Anchorstone Cafe as well as ferries to Greenway and Dartmouth. Availability: In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Saturday changeovers and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact me with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible. Out of peak season we don't need to keep to a Saturday changeover.
