In a quiet street, parking and easy access, in the city center, the house has been completely renovated after two years of work. The kitchen is complete with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, laundry with washing machine and dryer, quality dishes, various equipment type raclette oven, .... The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a sink. The toilets are separated. The 3 bedrooms (all bedding are new) are upstairs, two bedrooms with double bed and one with two single beds. All rooms have a magnificent view of the Collegiate Church of Semur and the Auxois hills. The large living room has a wood stove, a TV (TNT sat), and a table 6 to 8 guests. The garden is raised without opposite, with terrace, living room of garden and bbq. The house is 200 meters from a beautiful bakery, 200 m from the cinema, 300m from a pharmacy, all other shops and services within 500m. Semur en Auxois is a beautiful medieval town. You will be able to visit our exceptional museum, to walk on the ramparts of the city, to hang out on the terraces of typical bistrots, to discover one of our local restaurants or even for the bravest ones to make the "Tour des Chaumes" on foot or by mountain bike. Note that the month of May in Semur is a month of celebration with the Medieval Festival, the Fair of the Ring which is held every May 31 for more than 380 years and of course the Race of the Ring. The surroundings of Semur en Auxois are also rich, Vézellay, Beaune, Dijon, Auxerre are less than an hour away. The Abbey of Fontenay, the Castle of Bussy-Rabutin, the castle of Bourbilly, the Castle "with the thousand windows" of Lantilly, the village of Flavigny on Ozerain, the site of Alesia and its magnificent Museum, the village of Alise Ste Reine, Saulieu, Epoisse and his castle ... everything is 15 to 30 minutes away by car. On the activity side, the Pont Lake (nautical base) is 5min from Semur, the Montbard pools (open all year), but also that of Epoisse, Viteaux, Saulieu which are only open summer. Many walks in the area, the Burgundy Canal and the Morvan are also very close. And of course the vineyards and other cellar visits. The house is halfway between Chablis, Beaune and the village of Riceys in Champagne (all 45 minutes drive). Closer still, the vineyards of Vezellay, Flavigny sur Ozerain but also Villaines les Prévôtes or Thorey sous Charny. We will help you open some doors in reputable areas if you wish. Practical side, Montbard TGV station is 19km from the house. Semur / Montabrd shuttles and return are numerous by the regional bus network. Montbard is 50 minutes from Paris Gare de Lyon, 55 minutes from Roissy Charles de Gaulle, and even 5 hours from London St Pancras through Lille Europe.
