Owner's Suite - RedBuck Guest House

An 1834 pre-Civil War home, the Owner's Suite is decorated in turn-of-the-century oak antiques with double bed, Cable TV and has an en suite full bath (shower-no tub). This room is at the back of the house - a bit quieter, with an attached Sun Room. This is 1 of 3 available rooms in the house. The room accommodates only 2 guests (no extra guests allowed). This room has Garden views of our backyard from the bedroom and the Sun Room. In the event you are traveling with a group/family, this room does have a lockable, connecting door to the Wicker Room if you choose to rent both rooms. You may be sharing the common areas in the house with other guests. Along with your private room and bath, all guests have access to the Parlor, the Dining Room, a Service Room (breakfast area) as well as a half bath on the first floor. We have a motto here; "Bed & Breakfast?? You make 'em both!". There is no daily maid service and breakfast is "better than Continental" available each morning after 7:00 am for you to assemble at your leisure. Snacks and drinks are also available all day. Owner/Manager will greet you upon arrival and help you settle in. We are onsite and you may see us in the common areas to socialize if you choose (or not!). Otherwise, contact us by cell phone at any time if you need anything! We have maps, audio tour CD, and lots of info on the area. You are right in the middle of "Everything Gettysburg"! Most everything is walkable from here. Restaurants, bars, museums, shops, battlefield, cemetery, ghostwalks, etc. Don't think you could find a better location! A few of the local "must see" sites are a little farther from the house, and you'll need a vehicle or there is public transportation that runs immediately in front of the house. Check Rabbit Transit/Freedom Transit for public transport. Lots of metered parking in Gettysburg. Save your quarters or download their latest parking app: "Passport Parking" to charge it to your credit card! Pull up to the front door to unload your luggage, then drive around back, off the alley to park in 1 of 3 parking spaces. Currently, there is no guest access from the back of the house to your room. Guest access is only through the front door. -This room has no phone.
