This delightful 3-BR bungalow in Phoenicia radiates with light, charm and character! The vintage home boasts a rocking chair porch, a beautiful working stone fireplace, a large deck, beautiful gardens, and lovely mountain views. The neighborhood is quiet and cheerful, with access to the Esopus Creek just down the block. The house is located just a short walk or drive to Phoenicia with all its shops and restaurants and is minutes from skiing at Belleayre or Hunter Mountain. The first floor has two bedrooms - one with a twin bunk bed and the other with a queen bed. The den has a pullout sofa. Upstairs is a spacious master bedroom with a king bed. The renovated bathroom is on the first floor. The eat-in kitchen has modern appliances and is stocked with basic essentials which you're welcome to use. We have a collection of board games and outdoor games for all ages. The living room has a working fireplace and modern seating to relax on. Feel free to use the grill on the expansive deck, which is just off the Den/TV room. Your hosts, Maddy and John, are available 24/7 to provide you with guest support, troubleshoot any issues that could arise and help plan your stay. Located just 2 hours and half hour from NYC, Phoenicia is known for its charm, and many shops and restaurants nearby. It is also close to many other interesting towns such as Woodstock and Hunter if you want to explore the region. In the winter you'll have easy access to all the ski/snowboard areas by car: Hunter Mountain (20mins), Belleyre Mountain (15 mins) and Windham Mountain Ski Resort (40mins). There is plenty of adventure to be had in the Spring, Summer & Fall as well: hiking trails (walking distant and driving distant) throughout the area including Tremper Mountain Trail and Kaaterskill Falls; tubing at Tinker Town; swimming in the Esopus creek; the lake/beach at Belleayre.
