The Old Coach House - Sleeps 2 adults, 4 children + 1 infant
Two Bedrooms: King-size bed, Childrens Bedroom with two bunk beds , plus Infants cot room. Stylish triple-aspect cottage with a wood burner fire. Fully equipped kitchen: Electric cooker/hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, refrigerator with top-box freezer and washing machine. 3 Seeter sofa and three armchairs. Table and 6 chairs (+ highchair available). TV and DVD player and DVD's. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, wash-hand basin and toilet. Wardrobes with hangers, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lights. All linen is inclusive, but towels are an extra at £5 per set including bath towel, hand towel and face towel. Well behaved dogs accepted at £5 each per night. Maximum of 2 per cottage. We kindly ask that dogs are kept on the lead in the garden, are not permitted in the childrens play area, but are allowed off the lead in designated fields away from our organic beef herd as cows do not like dogs! Non smoking. There has rarely been a visitor to Gwarmacwydd, that has not commented on how special a location we have here. Not many people know that we are here, as we are hidden down a half a mile lane away from any traffic. Surrounded by 450 acres of Organic land, inclusive of over 50 acres of woodland and a 2 mile stretch of the river Taf. There are plenty of farm walks for you to explore what we have to offer. The lounge and main bedroom looks out on to the garden. Our large garden includes plenty of room to roam, with a children's play area, swings, and trampoline.There are a number of picnic tables dotted around the garden available to use . The market town of Narberth is only 10 minutes away, with a delightful range of eclectic shops and antique stores. We are only a 20 minute drive from Laugharne - home of famous Welsh poet, writer and broadcaster; Dylan Thomas. With his boat house still remaining as it was. A great setting in which to admire the Taf river estuary, and stroll along to Laugharne castle. The harbor seaside town of Tenby is a 25 minute drive. Walk along Tenby’s South Beach toward Giltar Point and the start of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path for fantastic views of Caldey Island. The closest train station to us would be Whitland, with every train stopping at this station. From here you can continue onward to Milford Haven and Tenby, or all the way to London and Manchester. Traveline.cymru are always willing to help with public transport arrangements! *The Old Coach House is attached onto The Butlers, and has double fire doors in-between which can be opened if a larger party wish to let both cottages together. Ideal for Grandparents on holiday with their family.
