Welcome to Cliffhanger Cottage, a scenic 15 minute drive from Knysna, on the Garden Route South Africa. This self-catering timber chalet is nestled on the edge of a valley, overlooking the forest canopy with breathtaking views. This romantic, private hide-away is set in peaceful, unspoilt surroundings. The perfect address for a honeymoon, anniversary, or just to escape from the stressful world. Both the timber cottages spoil you with spacious and comfortable interiors, great attention to detail and a beautiful ceramic fireplace to warm you on those chilly winter evenings. Firewood is provided. Our smaller open plan cottage, Hedge Cottage, is located in a garden setting with a large covered deck and great views . Relax and unwind in this tranquil setting. All our cottages have undercover braai facilities . ( Bring your own firelighters and charcoal.) Whilst you are enjoying the solitude and natural surroundings, you still have the modern conveniences of (Free) WiFi, flatscreen TV, DVD and USB . The cottages have limited DSTV (easyview) so bring your own decoder and smart card If you need the full bouquet. The garden route is famous for its abundance of outdoor activities, with mountain biking, trial running and forest walks nearby, allowing you the opportunity to truly appreciate our natural surrounds (Website hidden by Airbnb) A 15 minute drive gets you to the enchanting Millwood Forest , Knysna town or Buffalo Bay, a blue flag beach . The Knysna Lagoon holds plenty of scope for water sport, fishing, daytime or sunset cruises, as well as opportunities to go whale or dolphin spotting. Add on packages – massage or hampers, available on request. The only drawback to this piece of paradise is that you are not going to want to leave! Wash the city from your soul.
