The park lies on the edge of the Sauerland region, surrounded by the Eggegebirge, the Weserbergland and the Teutoburg Forest Nature Park.The varied hilly landscape is ideal for active nature lovers, hikers, skiers, mountain bikers and those seeking relaxation.Within a radius of 12 to 35 km there are eight well-maintained golf courses.The open southern terrace has been fitted with new garden furniture, sun umbrella and chair cushions in 2014.Treat yourself to breakfast on one of two sunny terraces spoil and start the day in harmony and with a breathtaking view over the Altenautal. It features two on-site and sufficiently large parking spaces, on the top and bottom.In case of need, through the management of the restaurant, a laundry service (incl. dryer), and on request, a laundry-rental service are available. Free internet access is available in indoor and outdoor areas of restaurants.The entire holiday village offers peace, quiet, clean air and a special location. The large holiday home was completely renovated in 2014, and all bedrooms have been redecorated. It is equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday and can accommodate up to five people.The modern kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator incl. freezer, stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. Opposite to the kitchen you will find a combined living and dining area with enough space for up to five people.The bright and large living room featuring impressive panoramic windows is equipped with a Full HD TV, with a screen diagonal of 40 inches and a CI+ card slot , a satellite system and smart TV and sound system, with CD/DVD-player. The bathroom has a large shower, the toilet is separate. In total there are three tastefully furnished bedrooms.There is a master bedroom with a large king-size bed, 180 x 200 cm, a bedroom with a double bed consisting of two single beds, each 90 x 200 cm, and a smaller youth room with a 80 x 200 cm single bed. All beds are new and have been equipped with high-quality bed bases and new mattresses in 2014. Situated on the park grounds, the restaurant offers its customers a wide selection of food and drinks, the traditional Westphalian hospitality and room for entertainment. The cuisine is considered by many guests as excellent and the prices are family friendly.For children there are two secluded playgrounds, as well as a large and small mini golf course, a ping pong table and a pinball machine in the dining area.Here it is also possible to borrow bikes. Shopping for daily needs can be arranged in Atteln, just 2 km away, or Lichtenau, 5 km away.For a city tour we recommend a visit the university town of Paderborn, some 16 km away. Here you will find plenty shopping opportunities, and the many attractions of a city with rich history will delight everyone.
