Vacation between mountains and sea! Over the east coast of Corsica, with a view of the Tuscan islands of Monte Christo, Elba and Capraia, our apartments are on the edge of a typical Corsican mountain village. The apartment on the ground floor of our 500 year old house can accommodate 2 to 4 people (approx. 90 sqm). From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the coast and the Corsican mountains. The apartment has a double bedroom. There is space for two more people on a couch and a fold-out armchair in the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and everything you need to take care of yourself. On clear days you can even spot the Italian coast on the horizon. You can reach your private 27m2 outdoor terrace directly from the living room. Due to the short distance to the tourist centers of the east coast with the excellent infrastructure there and the diverse offers in the field of water sports and leisure, we can promise hiking and mountain lovers as well as beach fans a relaxing holiday. The environment: The historic region of Castagniccia, which is dominated above all by its large number of chestnut trees, offers visitors endless hiking opportunities from March to December up to an altitude of approx. 1800 meters. Hike on well-marked trails through a wonderfully pristine landscape to abandoned villages, waterfalls and old mills. Then cool your tired feet in one of the clear mountain streams. Or visit the interesting cultural history museum in the old episcopal city of Cervioni. The coast with its kilometers of sandy beaches, diverse shopping opportunities and excellent tourist infrastructure is only a 20-minute drive away. The communal botanical hiking trail starts in front of the house, which provides information about a variety of Corsican plants in about 1.5 hours and touches historical monuments such as the chapel of San Mamilianu and the source of Orsulinu, as well as some of the most beautiful places on the Costa Verde , In the village itself there is the possibility to buy traditional Corsican cheese directly from the shepherd. Our apartments are only 9 km from the main artery of Corsica, which runs along the east coast, between mountains and sea. There are excellent hiking opportunities. from the front door, whereby the beach is only 9 km away.
