Our romantic farmhouse from 1829 is situated in the edge of the natur park Steigerwald and Romantic Franconia at the end of a small village. Today, the listed building offers modern comfort with historical charm. Perfect place for excursions into nature and to the nearby cities of Bad Windsheim, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Würzburg, Bamberg and Nuremberg. Surrounded by orchard medows, the 190 year old listed timbered-framed house is located on the end of a quiet side street only 5 minutes away from Bad Windsheim. The large panoramic window brings plenty of natural light into the open living area. Here you can cook, eat and sit comfortably in front of the crackling fireplace. In the bedroom, solid wood floorboards and exposed beams create a cozy atmosphere. The 180 x 200 cm metal bed and two single beds promise heavently dreams. The modern bathroom with floor-level shower has connecting doors to both bedrooms. Historical flair, stylish furnishings and individuality make this holiday home in the middle of nature very special. The apartment can be connected with another flat with an interior door. This way larger families or friends can spend a relaxing holiday together. Ickelheim approx. 5 km from the spa town Bad Windsheim, is a cozy, historic village in the heart of Middle Franconia. The apartment is located on the end of a quiet side street. Within walking distance you'll find a butcher's shop and three inns. The Franken Therme as well as the Franconian Open Air museum can be reaches by car in only 5 minutes. Rothenburg ob der Tauber and the lovely Tauber Valley in only 30 minutes, the cities of Bamberg, Nuremberg and Würzburg in 45 - 60 minutes. In summer, the unique nature of the sorrounding area not only invites you to go swimming, hiking or cycling, but also excursions to the Steigerwald tree-top walk, numerous castles and palaces or visit to an amusement park/climbing forest with the children add variety to your holiday. Try franconian wine and beer and enjoy the varied cuisine. Bus stop stall approx. 120 m away. Nest Station approx. 5 km in Bad Windsheim Car almost mandatory. No smoking in the house. Pets are not allowed. Please don't wear street shoes in the apartment.
