Opening the wing doors of your sleeping room you will experience an unforgettable view to the beach. VilanCool is a social project, run solely by locals. With your stay you support employment, education and a certain income to the local workers and their families. Every dollar you spend will be 100% re-invested into the project. Since VilanCool is solely managed by locals, all money you spent is to support the families and kids of our workers and the local nursing home (by EVISTA) we are building (20% of overnight spent is for the nursing home). Speciality is that you will be able to use all facilities from the Water Sport Center which is on the same property. Learn Kite Surfing, rent a SUP or enjoy an Island Safari with Snorkelling, Island Walk and watch for Dolphins at Natural Reserve Park of Bazaruto Archipelago or go for a Kite Safari... Local team of Nercio (Manager & Kite Instructor), Dalton (Guest Manager) and Gloria, Fernando, Kofi and Antonio are always around and at your disposal. In case of any query kindly ask our team member. They will accompany you to the market, cook local food and fulfil all your wishes. Since the IKO Water Sport Center is nearby you can have daily contact with other clients from all over the world. Important to know: the Center opens at 8:00 a.m. and closed at 18:30 p.m. During closing hours there are only house guests on the ground. It's you own lovely paradise. We only have local people in our neighbourhood (all big hotels and more people are at the North Beach). Their day starts at 6 o´clock and sometimes you will hear people talking at the beach preparing for fishing, building a boat or singing and dancing nearby. By airplane: Via Johannesburg directly to Vilanculos (VNX). We offer free of charge shuttle service (around 15 minutes from the small VNX airport) By car: we offer free parking on our property including security. Kindly note that we recommend 4x4 due to sand and gravel roads. VilanCool is a social project to provide local families education and employment. Thus, only locals are managing the place onsite and you will be happy with their service and support. Our team will do everything to provide you an unforgettable stay. VilanCool project is supported remotely out of Switzerland by Astrid & Tom. Moreover, VilanCool supports the EVISTA Nursing Home project - an NGO to support old and sick people of Vilanculos. What else to know: - Please consider that we sometimes have a power shutdown for around 1 hour, therefore we have a generator or even headlights available - Two guards are taking care of you during the night, however, it is a very save place - Walking distance to the market/city around 15 minutes - Closest restaurant is our VilanCool Bistro or the next around 300m down the beach
