BLICKINSFREIE - BIODIVERSE VACATION The Blickinsfreie is an old accordion factory which I renovated the past 2 years using all my creative inspiration this place gave me. Deep in the forests of the upper Vogtland, near original Czech beer, this is the perfect place to escape everyday life alone or with friends & family. Slow down and get inspired with up to 25 persons. Your place is a studio in the first floor of the building. It has a very unique but warm industrial charm, 4 beds, 1 couch, bathroom, heating with old cast iron radiators but also a romantic fire place and on top of that, the probably most individual kitchen you have ever seen where I up-cycled lots of interesting things I found in the house. Since there is many questions, it´s a studio (Loft) which is one big room with separate bathroom. And, sleeping takes place in the big room, meaning all people sleep in 1 room. There is no separate bedrooms. Furthermore, there is one more room outside of the apartment which we also use. This one is for storage (bikes, ski´s, etc) but also to do the laundry. Additionally, you can find up to 15 beds on the attic as well as 6 beds in our cabin. The attic is a very simple mountain hut like floor. There is no heating but 15 proper beds with sheets and pillows. For those beds, guests have to bring sleeping bags. We just provide bed sheets and pillows. This also applies for the beds in the cabin. If you want to sleep there in the winter, prepare for cold nights. Mountain hut! You can book individually but the studio is a must-book to get access to the additional beds. Please get in touch if you have questions. Vacation, concerts or weddings, ... we had any sorts of events here. Basically, you rent a full-equipped apartment. All you need to bring is food and drinks, and of course whatever you need to make your stay an adventure. You have your own entry. In the apartment slippers / house shoes are a must. Guests can not enter the apartment with their outdoor shoes. We have 4 pairs of slippers here. I speak English, German and French. My profession and passion at the same time is filmmaking and photography. A couple of years ago I started working on my dream, a house in the middle of nowhere where likeminded people can enjoy the beauty of simplicity in the middle of the woods. 3 years ago this place found me and because of the view I named it as my Webseite for my film business: Blickinsfreie. I run also workshops in photography and filmmaking here. Also I´m a big hiker and spend a lot of time on the bike in the woods around here. So no matter if you need a lesson in photography or a guide for your bike trip, I´m here ;-) We live in the floor above your studio, so if there is help needed, you can find us easily. PS: For a beer at the bonfire I´m always motivated ;-) There is no real neighbors, the closest 2 houses are around 100m away and in the whole village there is only around 40 people living. It´s quite and with lots of vegetation in the summer, you can even run around nude ;-) In a radius of 10 car minutes you can find various ski resorts and in Schöneck which is just 5 minutes away you can access Germany´s most famous cross country skiing track: the Kammloipe. In case you are standing sideways on a snowboard, I offer also private snowboard lessons. As a former sponsored snowboarder I am sure I can teach you some good things. This needs to be individually booked. From spring till autumn, we offer also mountainbike & hiking tours. Just get in touch in case you are interested. You can easily arrive by car (30 minutes from Plauen / 2 hours from Leipzig / 2 hours from Prag / 3 hours from Munich) or by train. There is a train stop in the village and then its a 5 minute walk to the house. You can catch a train in Zwickau called Vogtlandbahn and it gets you here in around 1 hour. To Zwickau you can get easily via Leipzig, Dresden or Nürnberg. Make sure to bring your snowboard, skies, bike or whatsoever as there is a lot opportunities for activity around. Just 10 minutes away you find the Bikewelt Schöneck, Germany´s second largest bike park. * WELLNESS HIGHLIGHTS FOR OUR GUESTS (additonal fees apply) * -> ORGANIC VEGETABLES: As we grow organic vegetables, we offer them for sale to our guests. Just ask us for our daily veggie basket. -> OPEN AIR HOT TUB: Book an open air bath under the stars for you and your friends in our Finish hottub. Additional fee: 60 Euro per evening (max. 3 hours). -> OPEN AIR SAUNA: In case you are loving to use a sauna, we have a Scandinavian outdoor sauna for up to 8 persons. A cold water shower is waiting too. Additional fee: 60 Euro per evening (max. 3 hours). - City tax needs to be payed in cash on arrival. It is 1,50 Euro per person & night. No credit or debit cards are excepted. - No smoking in the house. It´s only allowed in the garden. There is an ashtray. - No cats or dogs or any kind of pets in the apartement. - No crazy alcohol parties. - Respect towards nature and the beautiful renovated house. No trash in the garden or forest! Please people be respectful towards nature. - All guests need to clean their dishes and all kitchen tools they had in use prior check out. The rest of the cleaning is covered by the cleaning fee.
