A magnificent 100m sq apartment situated on the top floor of a sensitively renovated older building (built in 1910) in the centre of Banska Bystrica. This modern apartment has spacious rooms, sophisticed furniture, beautiful wooden floors, a gorgeous bathroom, two patio areas, and a log-burning stove. The location could hardly be better: within a short walk of Banska Bystrica town center with its restaurants, pubs, clubs and shops and just a 10-minute walk from the bus and train station. There are restaurants, pubs and supermarkets within walking distance. The main patio provide guests with views of the surrounding mountains (Urpin Hill). Banska Bystrica itself is steeped in history - every building tells its own unique story - yet has a range of funky bars, modern restaurants, enticing wine bars and comfortable coffee shops. The Europa shopping center will provide plenty of variety for even the most energetic shopper. With skiing and golf resorts nearby you will have plenty to do whether it is summer or winter. Guests will have the entire apartment to themselves. We will meet you on arrival to show you around and hand over the keys. After that, if you require any assistance, we are just a phone call away. When in Banska we love to eat at either Angels, Frais or Cartels restaurants. Brian loves the golf courses at Tri-duby and Tale and cycling locally. Lenka could shop all day at the Europa Center but also loves to ski at Jasna, Tale or Donovaly. We both highly recommend a trip to the High Tatras mountains - take the ski ride to the top of Lomnicky Stit. You will never forget it! Alternatively, why not make Banska Bystrica your personal hub and travel around taking day-trips to see Banska Stiavnica (a Unesco Heritage Town), Spania Dolina (a most beautiful old mining village), or visit the magnificent castles at Bojnice and Orvahrad, and so many other wonderful places... The main rail and bus station is a 10-minute walk away; Route 66 connecting Banska Bystrica with Bratislava runs through the city. There is a very good park for walking, running, roller-blading, etc. just a few hundred metres away. The main squate is just a few hundred metres away. Parking is available next to the building - costing just 3 Euro per day.
