One of 2 Twin ensuites that is available. There is Tea, Coffee and complimentary biscuits in all rooms as well as Freeview Tv with built in Dvd player and free Wifi. The bathroom has a basin, toilet and bar shower that is plumbed into combi boiler giving copious amounts of hot water. Breakfast is £7.50pp if required. Ideally situated for visiting Newcastle city centre (20 minutes using public transport) and its busy nightlife or the surrounding area. 400 metres from Newcastle Airport and 2 minutes drive to Ponteland with its ancient Pubs, Churches and variety of Restaurants. Within driving distance of the beautiful Northumbrian coastline, with its array of spectacular coastal walks. Hadrians Wall and Roman Forts with The Cheviot and Simonside hills also within an hours drive. If shopping is your thing then the Metro Centre is the place to be with every shop from designer to budget at your disposal and only 10-15 minutes drive. If you are arriving by car we have a private drive that easily parks upto 8 cars. Guests have use of bedroom and can also relax in the conservatory which overlooks the garden. Breakfast ( if required ) is also served in conservatory. There is seating areas in the garden which can also be used. We have our own living quarters within Stone Cottage but are on hand for any queries or help guests may have or need. Ponteland is one of the most affluent places to live in the Northeast, with many of the local premiership team players choosing to live here as well as local celebrities often seen dining in the many quality restaurants in the village. There is a bus stop outside Stone Cottage which goes to Ponteland or Newcastle City Centre. We are 5-10 minutes walk from The Airport where you can also take The Metro to most places in the North east. Guests are given keys to their room and the main entrance door. Once they have keys they are free to come and go as they please, arriving and leaving at anytime during their stay. All we ask is to respect other guests and be as quiet as possible if returning late.
