Garden Apartment Jana- Sunny Lakes Senec / Trnava

Apartment Jana is our new (2017) 2 bedroom ground floor garden apartment located in Senec, Slovakia, Its 200 metres from the lake and is ideal for families looking for a relaxing & good value holiday. Its also close to PSA & Samsung in Trnava if you are working in the area. Senec Lake is a popular holiday resort. Many Slovaks, Czechs and Polish come here for their holidays due to the great weather, great lake and good prices. Also its a great base to see both Bratislava (direct train 300m away) and also to see how Slovaks live. Apartment has underfloor heating and air-conditioning (in the main living area), also remote controlled exterior metal blinds. There is a working smoke alarm (last tested October 2021), but since there are no gas appliances there is no Carbon Monoxide detector. The coffee machine takes Dolce Gusto capsules which are in every Slovak supermarket. The Internet is via fibre 50Mbps up/50Mbps down with Wifi and RJ45 cable if needed. There is no issue to use VPNs or multiple sky9e, Webex, MS Teams conference calls simultaneously if you need to work. The apartment (ground floor) is yours - your private rear garden is secluded with a lake view (if you stand up!). Garden area is 6m x 5m landscaped (child friendly (be aware there maybe some chillis growing in one of the pots) & completely enclosed) with outdoor dining tables/chairs and some kids water toys. Small paddling pool will be ready if you let me know before you arrive. There are lots of other clean & working toys inside. I live 300m or 2km away (depending if its winter or summer) so am happy to meetup and let you know whats going on or sort out any problems quickly. Senec is a great place to stay. Its completely safe and feels like a holiday resort in the summer (because it is a holiday resort :-)) Its why we chose to live here. Note that nearly every photo has sunny skies - its why its known as Sunny Lakes Senec. In July & August expect temperatures between 25-33 degrees :-) What3words location: draining.special.minder Trains to Bratislava run hourly and cost €1.32 (or cheaper if you download the "IDS BK Cestovne listky" app for your phone and buy the ticket on there), its a 3 minute walk from the apartment to the Station. Trains are direct and take between 24-28 minutes. From Bratislava you can then reach Vienna & Prague easily. Also Budapest is 2 hours 45 from Senec station with 1 change for €17.50 return so could be done in a day trip. 1 parking space right outside the flat is provided, additional parking is 200m away. You dont really need a car to enjoy the area. Taxi's around town are €3-4 fixed price (Best to get them to meet you at Lobster Restaurant or the train station as they will know it) Note that in the summer months some of the nearby buffets have live music, for sure you will be able to hear this from the garden some nights but 1) Its usually quite good music 2) It makes you feel like you are on holiday (well I feel like I am all summer) 3) The apartment has double glazed windows and remote controlled metal blinds. 4) Previous guests have not mentioned it to be an issue. There is a beach volleyball court over the wall at the back of the garden (with a very high net to keep balls out of the garden), they use floodlights in the summer months so use of the shutters will keep out the light. If you would like to use the travel cot and high chair please let me know beforehand. We added an approved foam mattress to the travel cot in 2021, the original mattress (still used) is very hard.
