Access is via lockbox with code so our guests can access the house at their own convenience any time after check-in. Surrounded by listed buildings in Lower Pulteneytown which was designed by the great Scottish Engineer and Architect Thomas Telford in 1808 and made famous by the paintings of LS Lowry; “The Black Steps” (known locally as The Black Stairs) are situated just along the road from our house. Also nearby is the wonderful Wick Heritage Museum, a treasure trove of Wick’s fishing past; it was once the Herring capital of Europe. Within 2 minutes walk of our house is the town centre with many dining options and local bars. Our house is conveniently located for bus, train and airport facilities. The main bus terminal and train station are a 5-10 minute walk away, with the airport located only 1 mile away. Offering an ideal base for visiting sites throughout Caithness, as well as being a good stopover point for tours of the Orkney Islands and North Coast 500 Route.
