The large balcony offers a wonderful view of the Gosaukamm with its distinctive bishop's cap. In summer you will find numerous well-marked hiking trails from the house. In winter, the cross-country ski trail runs right past the house. It is 6km to the Dachstein-West ski region. A practice drag lift is located approx. 300m from the house.
