Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. 350 acres of paradise in the national forest. This Farm has been in our family nearly 50 years. From the cold water spring in the front yard to Little Piney Creek you have to cross to get here. Even a playground in the yard my dad built for my kids. Ride ATV's, bike, swim, hike, relax, and enjoy. The original log structure is pre-Civil War from what I understand. Just doesn't get any nicer. Located 2.1 miles down dirt road. It’s a secluded place. The Union schoolhouse is right down the road. If you leave the driveway and turn right back towards the highway. Then take the first road to the right. You will cross the creek and about 300 yards on up the road it’s on the right. It belongs to the community. Might make a donation while you are there but don’t have to. Check out the old hand well pump across the road from the schoolhouse. It’s a great visit. IMPORTANT NOTE!!!! With there being a creek crossing to access the property, there is a chance we would have to cancel the reservation. If so there would be a full refund given as long as Airbnb didnt hold any fees. Also, if you did have a stay and there was significant rain there is a chance you could be stuck at the house. The creek is not crossable probably 2-3 weeks a year on average. If further questions please ask. Also it is recommended to have a truck or suv. 4 wheel drive is preferable but not necessary. I posted a picture of us crossing in early June. Usually in the summer the creek is dry but not always and always is running Fall thru Spring.
