Barwick is set in private grounds and completely self-contained. With the view and the private swimming pool, you and your family can be socially distanced, whilst still enjoying an ocean holiday. Barwick is a unique ocean home, located in a prominent and wonderfully elevated position above the stunning sandy beach of Mawgan Porth. Spacious and unique in design, this holiday retreat is somewhere to relax with family and friends and somewhere you'll never want to leave. The main house has three bedrooms (one super king, one twin/king, and one twin (zip link king) ) and then there's a self contained apartment above the main house, with a further king size bedroom and extra single bedroom. There is also a sleeper couch in the living room for those occasions when extra friends arrive. In the main home and all on one level, you can enjoy the American style open plan atrium room, with a gourmet kitchen, breakfast area, and separate living spaces. The living room, with seating for 8 and its sweeping bay window that looks out over the sea. The second bedroom with a window seat to curl up and watch the ocean. A study for those days when you have to work but still have a view of the sea. Then there's the media room for kids and adults, and a sanctuary for everyone to escape for a little while. Not to mention a games room with a pool table , table football and table tennis for those rainy days. The master bedroom is huge with an American size king bed and an ensuite with its own jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower. The king and twin bedrooms share the family bathroom, with its twin pebble sinks, walk-in rain shower with a meter-wide shower head and TV. Head upstairs to the self contained apartment and you find a cozy living room overlooking the ocean, a master bedroom with a king-size bed, and a dressing area with its own porthole view of the sea. There's also a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The apartment also has its own terrace overlooking the sea, a kitchen, and a quiet office if you need to work while you're away (it has an ocean view too and that can be wonderfully distracting). Outside is an expansive deck with wide ocean views. There's a private heated swimming pool (in use 01 May to 30 September) and a hot tub (open all year), and masses of space to sunbathe. There's even a small changing room and shower outside. For outdoor cooking and drinking, there's a purpose-built outdoor kitchen and bar, which is fantastic for drinking cocktails in the sunshine! At the rear of the property is a Mediterranean garden and a wide lawned area, once again with fabulous views to the sea. There really is nowhere like this home for a spectacular Cornish vacation. Our house and pool cleaning company will make sure everything is spotless for your arrival. You also have 24/7 access to our holiday home management company based locally in Newquay. Barwick is for family holidays and we do not accept bookings with more than 4 adults (except where parents are booking a family holiday and inviting grown-up children and/or grandparents - if in doubt, please ask).
