Every aspect of the house has great views: over the village towards the church, across the Lecrin valley with its patchwork of olive and almond trees. the dramatic beauty of a mountain vista in the distance and the Sierra Nevada mountain range rising from the rear of the property. The roof terrace is a great place to see the changing colours of the mountains during the day and to watch the sun go down before eating dinner under a starry sky. There are pastimes to meet different tastes.: relax by the pool, pop into the village at lunchtime or early evening and join the locals for a drink and free tapas, take a stroll along the walkway along the Torrente valley or, if you feel more energetic follow the GR7 footpath which traces an old trade route from Algeciras to Athens that runs through the village. Niguelas is a thriving traditional village with a strong community spirit. It two bakeries, several shops, a market, a variety of bars and restaurants. It is home to a music school that contributes to village events and celebrations. There is also a larger supermarket selling good range of fresh meat, fish, fruit and vegetables just 5 minutes drive away.
