Several walking routes from the house will take you along ancient mule tracks to medieval bridges and villages, through chestnut forests and way-marked trails. The 10X5 private pool has a shallow area for young children and comes equipped with 3-metre trampoline, large built barbecue, worktop and sink, thatched pergola and fridge. The cities of Lucca ( 1 hour) Pisa (1.5 hours) and even Florence (2 hours) are all within a day-trip, and the medieval towns of Sillico, Castiglione, Piever Fosciana, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and San Pelegrino are all within a 20-minute drive.
