Beautiful nice little house (the one to the right) for 2-4 people, with 2 single beds (or double bed) and 1 sofa bed (for 1-2 persons). The house has a kitchenette and bathroom. Sólvangur is a horse-breeding farm in the South Coast of Iceland. You will have wonderful views to nature, horses, sheep, dogs and cats in the surroundings. Stable Café is on sight with light food, cakes and coffee and you could get to know the Icelandic horse by doing a riding lessons or a stable visit. Sólvangur is a family owned horse breeding farm in South Iceland, where individuals of all ages as well as groups have the chance to have an extra ordinary vacation on a real Icelandic farm, as well getting closer to the nature and the Icelandic horse. The service on the farm includes riding lessons, stable visits, children rides, tailor made riding vacations and more. Inside the stable there is a Stable Café, with meals, cakes and beverages and a horse related gift shop where everything nods towards horses and guests have a view of the horses. If you would like to see the Northern Lights - at Sólvangur you will have a treat. Because during the winter (October - March) northern lights are visible from all the houses - if visible at all. Only a mile away we have the black sand beaches and the atlantic sea. Next to us is also the bird reserve - Friðland í Flóa. So if you would like to have an authentic experience on a real horse-breeding farm in Iceland - this is the place to visit. If you do not like animals - you can simply avoid them ;) Free Wifi, wonderful views to the Icelandic nature, horses and other animals, mountains, northern lights and more. Stable Café and horse related gift souvenir shop on sight. We live on the farm. Guests can contact us nearly always when ever they want but we don't disturb our guests. It is quiet place on a real horse - breeding farm, beautiful views to the nature, close to Eyrarbakki who is one of the oldest towns in Iceland and many things to see and the ocean is amazing with a breathtaking black beech. We are close to Selfoss, there you can find shops and everything you like only 10 km away. 50 km from Reykjavik the Capital of Iceland and 100 km from Keflavík if you drive by the sea line, very beautiful. Public transportation is available but preferable people need to have car or bicycle.
