"Appartement Cerise" - 2 Bedroom Character Apartment in Heart of Prades

Our first floor apartment is located in the centre of the market town of Prades. We fell in love with the high ceilings and the original Catalan decorative floor tiles dating from 1930 - different in almost every room. The kitchen connects to a large dining room, and there is a separate living room. There are two bedrooms at the rear of the property - the 'Bull Room' has a Queen Bed whilst the 'Bird Room' has a Double. There is a big bathroom with shower, basin and bidet, and a separate toilet. On the same level you will find a large terrace with expansive views of the surrounding countryside and villages. If you have your own car, parking is available on the street, or you can catch the 1 Euro bus to Perpignan on the coast, or inland to explore the villages of the Têt Valley. The bus station is just along the road. "Appartement Cerise' is within a few minutes' walk of local restaurants, cafés and shops. Treat yourself to fresh bread and pâtisseries from the boulangerie just down the street. The weekly Saturday market boasts an array of local produce, whilst the larger Tuesday market offers everything from woven baskets & ceramics to leather goods & jewellery, as well as fresh produce. Prades also has two large supermarkets and the 'Biocoop' organic food store. Prades is the perfect base for nature walks, exploring the mountain villages & Cathar castles, whilst the seaside attractions of the Mediterranean coast are within easy reach.
