In the Middle Ages Guemene was an important strategic site with a large castle guarding the western edge of the domains of the Dukes of Rohan, The situation of the cottages means that they are in easy reach of historic towns, villages and the southern Brittany coastline, which you can get to in aprox 45 mins.
