The almond house, hillside villa between Cefalù and Palermo

I have always loved my home, since when my husband, the beauty of forty years ago, we invested our first savings to create a place where the beauty of nature, the coolness of the hill, could lull our summer hours. In recent years we have renovated the house that has kept its welcoming soul intact, without showing its age ;-). Hosting you is a way of reviving those places that I have loved so much and that I still love. I hope you will love our home like us. The house, very bright, is located in the hills, in the district Cangemi, about twenty-five minutes from the first beach. It is an ideal place to recharge your batteries after visiting the sunny Palermo coast. Three kilometers away is the small medieval village of Caccamo, with the enchanting medieval castle, one of the most beautiful and best preserved in Sicily. In the village there are restaurants, pizzerias, bars, supermarkets, banks, pharmacy. A car is necessary because the place where the villa is located is not served by public transport. Just 30 minutes away by car is the beautiful town and seaside resort of Cefalù, a UNESCO heritage site and one of the most beautiful towns in Italy.
